"El gran Flaffy"

Flaffy es un inocentón profundo, un perrito muy sensible al que todas sus situaciones y descubrimientos causan gran conmoción, puesto que la mayoría de las veces no es demasiado consciente de lo que pasa a su alrededor, y suele salir mal parado de sus pequeñas aventuras. Pero también, debido a su inocencia, es un optimista incurable que nunca se desalienta, por muchos palos que se lleve en su mullido trasero o en su sensible corazoncito.

Y "El gran Flaffy" será un cómic digital publicado por Altercomics y distribuido en Ave!Comics para iPhone y dipositivos similares, con salida prevista para antes de un mes. Serán 5 historias mudas de dos páginas cada una, y luego vendrán más.

"The Great Flaffy"

Flaffy is a big dupe, a very sensitive little dog who gets shocked by all of his discoveries and new situations, cause most of the times he isn´t very conscious of what is happening around him, and usually comes in a bad way after his adventures. But also because of his innocence, he is a hopeless optimist who never becomes discouraged, no matter how many blows he gets neither on his chubby bottom nor on his little heart.

And "The Great Flaffy" will be a digital comic published by Altercomics and distributed by Ave!Comics for iPhone and similar devices, and will be released before a month. It will consist on five mute stories of two pages each, an more will come after.

"Aventuras de un oficinista japonés" es el segundo proyecto, y va para más largo. Se trata de un álbum en papel verá la luz de la mano de Bang! ediciones, en España y Francia. Serán cerca de 90 páginas a color ( calculo) en las que asistiremos atónitos a cómo la vuelta a casa tras una dura jornada de trabajo se complica de forma exponencialmente absurda y peligrosa.

Se trata también de una historia muda, con un componente experimental, en el que el propio devenir de la historia dicta los acontecimientos que van ocurriendo.Y hasta aquí puedo leer por ahora.

"Adventures of a japanese office worker" is the second project, and it will take a while. It´s a traditional comic, I mean, an album, made of paper, which will be released by the hand of Bang! ediciones, in Spain and France. It will be near 9o colour,mute pages in which we will witness, astonished, at how returning home after a hard working day can get ridiculously complicated.

It´s a mute story too, with an experimental ingredient, cause the evolution of the story itself dictates the nexte events happening forward. And that´s all I can tell for now.

Lily & Pucha para PROYECTOGATO.ORG

Lily es la delgada, y Pucha, la gordita, y están basadas en hechos reales, es decir, en dos felinos domésticos que viven conmigo. Aparte de ser las protagonistas de unas historietas que pronto podréis ver, son solidarias y han accedido a colaborar prestando su imagen con PROYECTOGATO.ORG, una asociación sin ánimo de lucro afincada en Vigo que se dedica a controlar y mejorar la vidad de los gatos callejeros de la ciudad, dándoles refugio, tratamiento sanitario y facilitando su adopción; así, al tiempo que los animales viven mejor, se controla también el crecimiento demográfico descontrolado de estos adorables bichejos. Se trata de una iniciativa totalmente altruista, autogestionada y autofinanciada, sin subvenciones ni ayudas institucionales, porque los gatos no votan, pero si que necesitan dinero para comida, medicinas y ropa de marca, así que para eso han montado esta TIENDA SOLIDARIA, dónde podéis aportar vuestro granito de arena a la causa.

Lily is the slim one, Pucha is the chubby one, and they are based on real facts, in two domestic felines living with me, I mean. Apart from being the main characters of a comic strip coming soon, they are supportive and gave a hand lending their image to PROYECTOGATO.ORG, a nonprofit association established in Vigo that put its efforts in controlling and improving the life of the street cats of the city, giving refuge to them and sanitary assistance, as well as making thing easy for adoption. They explain it better HERE.

It is a totally altruistic iniative, self-administrated and self-financiated, without institutional help because cats don´t vote, but they do need money for food, meds and brand-name clothing, so they set up this SUPPORTIVE SHOP where you can make a contribution for the cause.
